Website Workshops - Create your own website in this hands-on website class

Learn how to create and maintain your own website whether it's for your small business or personal site. You'll leave this workshop with a completed and published website. This is a hands-on class where you will actually select and purchase a domain name, create a website using template designs (from godaddy, networksolutions or weebly), select keywords and keyword phrases and then submit your website to search engines and other directories.

If you learn how to do it yourself, you own your domain name and website. You'll no longer have to wait for someone to do it for you and then send you a bill.  Learn how to do it yourself in this workshop. Each workshop includes 12 hours of class time during which you will be developing and working on your own website.

Cost of class: $240 per website (couples or partners may work together on same website on one computer). Bring your own laptop (if possible but desktop computer would be available). Wifi connection available. Cost of class includes up to 12 hours of class time (with all attendees/students). Lodging is extra (two night stay required - breakfast included).

Domain name and website hosting will be purchased separately by you under your own account with your credit card. (Domain names can be approx. $12 per year; website hosting price varies from $0 to approx. $120 per year).

Proposed class schedule:
First day - check-in at 3:00 pm, 3 hour class, dinner break.
Next day - breakfast, 3 hour class, lunch break, 3 hour class, afternoon/dinner break, 3 hour class.
Next morning - breakfast then checkout by 11:00 am (no class scheduled).

Girlfriends Getaway at The Forever Inn
Explore the NC Heartland region, visit local towns, area pottery shops or studios and area art galleries. Other activities could include antiqueing, canoeing, painting classes by local artist, beading workshops or classes, shagging lessons, etc.. Single occupancy for 3 people; double occupancy would be 6. Breakfast included. Other meals could be available. Please call to discuss details.
