Make breakfast at The Forever Inn
the highlight of your day.
We get rave reviews for our breakfasts. Some guests are quiet about it and write in the guestbook that breakfast was "outstanding". Others tell us right to our face. Enjoy your delicious full breakfast in our large mahogany dining room - everyone’s favorite room. Get your day off to a great start with a memorable breakfast.
During hummingbird season, watch the hummingbirds feeding right outside the dining room window.
Breakfast at The Forever Inn is made the old-fashioned way. Our buttermilk biscuits, muffins, banana bread, cinnamon rolls, cobblers, tarts and coffeecakes are all made from scratch. Our coffee is ground fresh every morning. We use real maple syrup, sweet unsalted butter, and when available, local farm fresh eggs, locally harvested honey, peaches and pecans.
Breakfast specialties include -
Apple Puff Pancake - one of our guests' favorites - not really a pancake but a hard-to-describe, delicious dish with apples and cinnamon sugar. Served with country sausage or Maple Bacon.
Fancy Scrambled Eggs - a wonderful combination of tender scrambled eggs, a 3-cheese mixture of sharp Cheddar, Gruyere and Romano laced with a savory Mornay sauce.
Maple Pecan Chocolate-Stuffed French Toast - out of this world! - thick slices of bakery sourdough bread, stuffed with quality dark chocolate, sauteed ‘til golden brown, topped with toasted pecans and real maple syrup. Served with crisp Maple Bacon.
Light & Airy Buttermilk Pancakes - delicious, tender and light pancakes, served with real maple syrup and crisp Maple Bacon. Or try our favorite version - Chocolate Chip Pecan Pancakes. Mmmm, chocolate for breakfast.
Bacon Avocado Tomato Omelet - a fabulous tender omelet made with farm fresh eggs, Maple Bacon, ripe avocado and fresh Roma tomatoes. This outstanding omelet will make omelet haters into omelet lovers.
Sausage & Cheese Grits Casserole - if you don't like grits, you might like this version. Full of flavor. Hot country sausage, sharp cheddar cheese and sauteed sweet onion layered with cheesy buttery grits and topped with a little more Cheddar cheese. So good and so delicious.
