May 1, 2008, 7:00 pm - Colonial Background in Voice and Painting - Presentation by Barbara Funderburk, Artist and Author, at the Olde Mill Gallery, Lockhart Taylor Center at South Piedmont Community College, 514 N. Washington Street, Wadesboro, NC. Ms. Funderburk, dressed in authentic colonial dress of the ordinary woman, will use her oil paintings to tell wonderful stories that will bring to life this regions cultural history. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries and art shows and are included in several private and corporate collections. Free admission and parking. Light refreshments.
